Easter Island - Isla de Pascua

Isla de Pascua, otherwise known as Easter Island finds its home in the Pacific Ocean and remains one of the biggest mysteries to date. The island is covered by Moais which are gigantic statues carved out of volcanic rock. The foreigners that landed on this island about 1,200 years ago became obsessed with creating this carvings and today no one knows why. Villarrica National Park

You cannot really get this kind of view of the Villarica volcano from anywhere else. Despite the snow-coned volcano's activity it remains one of the most climbed summits in the country. This volcano is one of the four in the world to have a lava lake active in its crater. Looking for a close up? Guided tours to the crater are offered at certain times of he year and helicopter rides will fly you over top.
Chiloé Island
Chiloé Island is the largest island located in the Los Lagos Region. Unbridled nature and remarkable platforms of culture is what finds you here. The island is known for its amazing seafood, handmade crafts and loving people. Palafito houses on stilts and fleets of old yellow fishing boats add to the charm. The island can only be visited from boat or kayak travel.
Torres del Paine National Park

Visitors from all around the world enjoy trekking through this national park. The park is adorned with plenty of vegetation, a few endangered animals and 15 species of birds of prey. Hikers can walk a day path, five day path or the nine day trek around the full circle enjoying the large glaciers, lakes and waterfalls.
Antofagasta

This city presents you the clearest skies in the world and is home to many telescopes and observatories for your viewing pleasure. The clock tower downtown and a few other buildings are a “must see' here like the Gothic styled cathedral. Be sure to pay attention to mysterious rock formations here.
San Pedro de Atacama
Here is where you can see the Valley of the Moon, check out a few volcanoes and even find the Chaxa lagoon, inhabited with flamingos. Volcanic hot springs with pools and falls made from the hot water from the Puritama river. There's plenty of small villages and beautiful landscape to check out here.
Arica Beach

Arica and the Altiplano Valley is known as the famous “City of Eternal Spring.” It only rains two or three times a year here. Arica is in the driest desert in the world. The beach is beautiful and there's a valley that cuts through the desert that has water from the snow melting down the Andes. This is a magical location.
